The Maintenance Supervisor will provide leadership, technical guidance, and coaching to maintenance technicians while driving continuous improvement initiatives, reducing downtime, and supporting operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead daily maintenance operations, including emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and scheduled work activities
• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians to ensure high performance and accountability
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance work orders to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and asset reliability programs
• Monitor and track maintenance performance metrics and key operational objectives
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and maintenance standards
• Schedule and facilitate technical, safety, and maintenance systems training
• Manage contractor, vendor, and capital project activities as required
• Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and parts inventory management
• Partner with operations and other departments to minimize downtime and improve plant performance
Qualifications
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience within maintenance operations
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment troubleshooting
• Experience leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ability to manage maintenance projects, contractors, and vendor relationships
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills
• Experience working in a continuous improvement environment
Preferred Experience
• Food, beverage, dairy, brewing, packaging, or other high-speed manufacturing environments
• Technical degree, associate degree, trade school certification, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance planning, and reliability programs
• Background in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
