About the Role:
The Maintenance role at Elite Transportation Systems is focused on safety and the contractors. The Maintatiance / Fleet Manger is a key member of our team, working directly to our entire staff. Helping plan focus on strengthening and retaining our fleet of contractor drivers.
The ideal candidate has a deep focus on safety, providing outstanding DOT Regulation and safety requirement for all size vehicles from car to tractor trailers. Helping contractors manage their small business operations. Improved team member engagement through all departments.
Monitors the maintenance program, including daily, monthly and bi-monthly inspections, and it documentation. Follow up on maintenance and repairs items of equipment, to ensure company standards are maintained. Candidate must consistently utilize good judgment in an effort to maximize equipment dependability through the most cost effective methods. Direct and coordinate activities of vehicle repair & compliance to obtain optimum use.
Build and maintain driver relationships through understanding and meeting driver needs. Be able to report weekly on the current status of the fleet & lease fleet of vehicles.

• Class B CDL preferred, or the ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL within 180 days after hiring.

Along with overseeing the day to day inspections and management of a lease fleet and DOT compliance programs. This position will be responsible for the certain DOT safety & compliance programs including HOS, Monthly Maintenance Reports. Review of driver qualification files, permits & licensing. This person will lead the DOT & compliance programs by working with contractors and managers, enforcing corrective action and improving driver safety & practices. The manger will create and maintain KPIs for DOT fleet, repair & maintenance and compliance.
MUST HAVE DOT KNOWLEDGE AND TRANSPORTATION EXP.
