Mailroom and Operations Assistant
Toyota Sports Performance CenterToyota Sports Performance Center, the official training center of the Los Angeles Kings, and American Sports Entertainment Company (ASEC) seek a qualified individual for the Mailroom and Operations Assistant position. Mail Room Responsible for Incoming Mail including receiving, signing for, sorting, and delivering incoming letters, inter-office mail, and carrier packages (USPS, UPS, FedEx) to designated departments or mail stops. Responsible for Outgoing Mail including preparing, weighing, measuring, labeling, and affixing postage to outgoing letters and parcels, selecting the most cost-effective or requested shipping method. Proficient in operating postage meters, scale machines, folding/inserting machines, barcode scanners, and photocopy/fax equipment. Responsible for Tracking & Logging including entering delivery details, tracking numbers, and recipient signatures into digital logbooks or company inventory systems Responsible for Inventory Management including monitoring and restocking office and mailing supplies (envelopes, boxes, tape, labels, and postage). Responsible for Customer Service including answering inquiries regarding postal regulations, tracking missing parcels, and assisting staff with special mail types (certified, registered, or express mail). 2 years of experience required. Knowledge of international shipping a plus. Ability to stand or walk for long periods, bend, reach, and frequently lift and carry packages weighing anywhere from 25 to 50+ pounds. Valid California driver's license required. Operations Assist Operations Manager with inventorying and ordering facility supplies. Assist Operations Department with event set up and tear down. Operates the ice resurfacer to maintain superior ice quality General Proficient with Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. High attention to detail, organizational skills, discretion with confidential or financial correspondence, and dependable time-management. Available nights, weekends, and holidays.
