Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load, unload, and organize packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to scheduled delivery times and maintaining accurate delivery records via mobile devices. Deliver mail, parcels, and freight directly to customers’ doorsteps or designated drop-off points with professionalism and courtesy. Conduct safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items, ensuring personal safety and preventing workplace injuries. Manage warehouse operations related to sorting, loading, and preparing shipments for delivery. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to confirm deliveries, resolve issues, or provide assistance as needed. Experience Prior warehouse experience or commercial driving experience is highly desirable. Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving, load & unload procedures, and customer service excellence. Familiarity with operating box trucks, vans, or commercial trucks with manual transmissions. Knowledge of manual handling techniques, heavy lifting safety practices, and material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks. Experience in moving goods within warehouse environments or during personal vehicle deliveries is a plus. Ability to adhere strictly to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices throughout daily operations.
