Luxury Custom Home Construction Superintendent / Project Manager

Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent / Project Manager specializing in the construction of high-end luxury custom homes in South Florida. This position is based in Hillsboro Beach, Florida , and offers an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned construction professional with a proven track record of managing and delivering luxury residential projects. The ideal candidate will have 5–10+ years of direct experience in luxury custom home construction , with extensive knowledge of premium building materials, sophisticated architectural details, high-end finishes, and the level of craftsmanship expected in multimillion-dollar residences. We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes ownership of projects, maintains exceptionally high standards, and has the experience and attention to detail required to execute complex luxury homes from groundbreaking through final completion. This is not an entry-level position. We are specifically seeking candidates with demonstrated experience building high-end, custom luxury residences. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of luxury custom home construction from site preparation through final completion and homeowner turnover. Manage daily on-site construction operations, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and adherence to project schedules. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, specialty trades, vendors, and suppliers. Maintain the highest standards of workmanship, craftsmanship, and attention to detail throughout every phase of construction. Review and interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, engineering documents, and detailed construction specifications. Coordinate installation of luxury finishes, custom millwork, premium stonework, specialty glazing, architectural features, and other high-end materials. Develop, manage, and maintain detailed construction schedules, budgets, and project milestones. Identify and proactively resolve construction challenges, scheduling conflicts, and design coordination issues. Conduct regular quality-control inspections and ensure all completed work meets project specifications and expectations. Work closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, and ownership. Manage permitting, inspections, building code compliance, and project documentation. Oversee project costs, change orders, material procurement, and subcontractor performance. Maintain an organized, professional, and safe construction site. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest luxury residential construction standards. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury custom home construction; 10+ years strongly preferred. Proven experience serving as a Construction Superintendent, Construction Project Manager, or similar leadership role on high-end custom residential projects. Demonstrated track record of successfully completing multimillion-dollar luxury custom homes. Extensive understanding of luxury residential construction methods, high-end finishes, specialty trades, and complex architectural details. Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and quality control. Ability to read, understand, and coordinate complex architectural and engineering drawings. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain demanding project schedules without compromising quality. Familiarity with South Florida building codes, permitting, and inspection requirements. Ability to work on-site in Hillsboro Beach, Florida. Preferred Experience Construction of waterfront, oceanfront, or estate-style luxury residences. Experience managing custom homes with sophisticated architectural designs and extensive high-end finishes.
