Lumber Yard & Warehouse Service Worker/Back up Driver

Safrit’s Building Supply is seeking a team player for a full-time Yard and Warehouse position. We are a family-owned, fast-paced lumber yard--serving both commercial & residential eastern NC customers for over 90 years. Safrit’s Building Supply yard/warehouse service workers perform the following tasks: Provide assistance to customers in pulling their orders, inspecting merchandise, & in facilitating returns Pull orders from stock, load orders onto delivery trucks, and unload stock as it arrives on-site Maintain work areas in a clean & orderly manner May need to lift, push, & move freight/products weighing an average of 50 lbs. - 100 lbs. Drive a truck and make deliveries as needed. Must be able to pass a background check and have a good driving record so you can be added to our company insurance.
