Job Description The position will initially assume responsibility for many of LSDA's ordering and operational coordination activities while cross-training in product, pricing, systems, and technical functions. The role is intended to develop into a broader product-management position as experience and product knowledge grow. Key Working Relationships This position will work closely with the President of LSDA and the LSDA team to coordinate purchasing, product development, supplier activities, product information, marketing support, and day-to-day operational projects. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, and able to work across purchasing, product management, sales, marketing, suppliers, and operations. Strong communication and follow-through are essential. Experience in purchasing, order management, product management, sales operations, marketing coordination, or a related role is preferred. Experience with commercial door hardware is helpful but not required. The successful candidate must be willing to develop a strong technical understanding of LSDA products and applications. What You'll Do Coordinate LSDA purchase orders, inventory requirements, supplier communication, order status, and follow-up. Work with overseas suppliers and the LSDA sourcing team on new products, samples, quotations, packaging, documentation, and product changes. Coordinate new-product projects from initial concept through sampling, testing, pricing, inventory setup, launch, and divisional communication. Maintain and improve LSDA product data, pricing information, competitive comparisons, product documentation, and internal systems. Cross-train on LSDA products and technical applications to provide increasing product support to IDN divisions and customers. Assist with inventory management, including identifying slow-moving and excess inventory and coordinating actions to improve inventory performance. Coordinate defective-product reporting, supplier credits, warranty documentation, and related processes. Support LSDA training programs and development of product training materials for inside and outside sales teams. Coordinate marketing and sales-support activities, including product announcements, catalogs, sell sheets, promotional materials, new-product launches, website/product content, and other sales-enablement materials. Work with IDN divisions to gather market feedback, competitive information, product requests, and opportunities for new LSDA products. Assist with trade shows, sales meetings, product presentations, and other LSDA promotional activities as needed. Track projects and action items to ensure commitments to suppliers, divisions, and customers are completed on time.
