Lowboy Truck Driver CDL A (2+EXP)

We are looking for an experienced LOW BOY truck driver to serve our logistics department in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts MUST HAVE 2 TO 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE OF LOW BOY EXP Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE UNLOADING TRACKHOES, BULLDOZERS, FRONT END LOADERS, AND BACKHOES Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid CLASS A HAZMAT A PLUS Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Experience: Lowboy: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: CDL A (Required) Ability to Commute: Sibley, LA 71073 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Sibley, LA 71073: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
