Lowboy Driver/ End Dump

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lowboy Driver/End Dump operator to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating specialized heavy-duty trucks, including lowboy trailers and end dump trucks, to transport construction materials, equipment, and freight across various routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to handle complex logistics will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations. Responsibilities Safely operate lowboy trailers and end dump trucks, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Transport freight, construction equipment, or local deliveries with precision and professionalism. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or truck loading/unloading equipment while maintaining safety protocols. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to adhere to designated routes and optimize delivery schedules. Secure loads properly on flatbed , ensuring the safe transportation Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, route information, and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Requirements Proven experience operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or specialized heavy-duty trucks such as lowboys and end dumps. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type and cargo Demonstrated knowledge of DOT regulations, hazardous materials handling, and safety standards for truck driving. Experience with route driving, freight handling, and logistics cargo management in a commercial trucking environment. Ability to manually handle heavy loads during loading/unloading processes while adhering to safety procedures. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution. Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading techniques for various types of freight including dangerous goods.
