Lowboy Driver
R&D Transportation Services, Inc.Overview R&D Transportation Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Lowboy Driver with a Class A CDL! As a Lowboy Driver, you’ll transport asphalt paving and construction equipment locally throughout New Orleans, Gretna, River Parishes, B.R. and the Northshore. Job Details $1,500 Weekly (Paid weekly) Must be willing to learn how to operate and load machines. Must be able to enter & exit truck several times per day. Must be able to climb in and out of machines. Must be able to drive a manual transmission. Home every night! Must have transportation. Minimum of 40 hours a week. Must be able to work some weekends. 1099 Independent Contractor. Year round work. Responsibilities Operate Lowboy Trailer safely to and from destination while obeying all traffic laws. Transport heavy equipment such as cranes, dozers, loaders, excavators, etc. Maintain logs and paperwork as required. Inspect heavy equipment, and cargo for proper tie-down and for any possible damage prior to transporting. Must be knowledgable of all federal and state transportation regulations. Qualifications Must have at least 2 years driving experience. Must possess a valid Class A CDL. Must possess a valid TWIC card. Required to pass pre-employment screenings such as motor vehicle records check, DOT physical, and drug screening. R&D Transportation Services, Inc is an equal employment opportunity employer.
