Operating stand-up reach trucks, high-lift order pickers, and sit-down counterbalanced forklifts, our certified operators keep order selectors supplied with inventory and ensure inbound loads are safely put away. ALDI invests heavily in equipment safety, modern operator cabs, and ongoing technical certification. This position is 100% physical and requires full on-site work inside the distribution center facility (zero remote options).

Role Overview & Responsibilities
As an ALDI Forklift Operator, you perform high-level material handling, pallet replenishment, rack put-away, and outbound trailer loading using powered industrial trucks.
• High-Bay Replenishment & Put-Away: Retrieve reserve pallets from high-rack storage bays and lower them into active order selector pick slots to maintain continuous stock availability.
• Inbound & Outbound Loading: Safely drive forklifts into inbound shipping trailers to unload supplier pallets or load wrapped store-bound pallets onto outbound freight trailers.
• Equipment Inspection & Maintenance Logging: Perform mandatory daily pre-shift operator safety inspections on powered industrial equipment, logging battery levels and reporting mechanical issues immediately.
