The Dedicated Product Division safely delivers thousands of shipments annually, strictly adhering to hazardous waste regulations and ensuring reliable, error-free delivery for customers. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Longhaul Hazmat Driver role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The driver will transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste and dedicated products across long distances using company tractors and trailers while complying with DOT, RCRA, and applicable hazardous waste regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, safely loading and unloading material, completing required logs and documentation, and coordinating with dispatch and logistics teams for route planning and scheduling. The driver will follow all company safety protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and participate in required training to maintain certifications. The role also involves professional customer interaction at pickup and delivery locations and adherence to company policies and procedures at all times. Qualifications Valid CDL (Class A) with hazardous materials (HazMat) endorsement and tanker endorsement; clean driving record, . M inimum 3 years experience, longhaul trucking, including safe operation of tractors, tank trailers, and vacuum trailers. Knowledge of DOT, RCRA, and OSHA regulations; ability to follow hazardous waste handling and transport procedures. Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections, maintain driver logs, and complete shipping and regulatory documentation accurately. Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in high-risk environments. Good communication and customer service skills for professional interaction with clients and site personnel. Physical ability to handle hoses, connections, and equipment, and to work in various weather and industrial conditions. Previous experience in hazardous materials or environmental transport preferred; willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification.
