LONGHAUL DISPATCHER / OFFICE CLERK

Duties Coordinate long-distance freight dispatching using company software to assign loads and track shipments. Communicate effectively with drivers and clients via multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Enter accurate data related to shipments and deliveries into our inhouse computer program. Monitor supply chain activities, analyze freight movement data. Support shipping & receiving processes by preparing documentation, tracking deliveries, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Assist with administrative tasks including filing, report generation, and maintaining organized records of dispatch activities. Collaborate with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers and internal teams to optimize freight flow and improve overall efficiency. Requirements Proven experience with transportation management systems (TMS), AS400, SyteLine or similar ERP software. Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, freight operations, and shipping & receiving procedures. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; proficient in typing and managing multi-line phone systems. Analytical skills to interpret freight data, identify issues, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency. Exceptional communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette to liaise effectively with drivers, clients, and team members. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of 3PL operations and shipping regulations is a plus.
