Role We are seeking a Long Range Planner / Plant Maintenance Training Specialist to join our team. In this dual-focus role, you will be responsible for forecasting and mapping out strategic, long-range maintenance initiatives (such as major overhauls, shutdowns, and asset lifecycles) while simultaneously designing, coordinating, and executing a robust technical training curriculum for our maintenance personnel. This position plays a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime, maximizing asset longevity, and building a highly skilled, safety-conscious workforce to support operational readiness. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization committed to innovation, sustainability, and leadership in the clean energy sector. The role is based at our Winnemucca, NV office during construction and will transition to the Thacker Pass Project during commissioning and throughout production. It reports directly to the Senior Maintenance Planner. Occasional travel to other LAC offices, project sites, or vendor locations may be required. Key Responsibilities Long-Range Planning & Asset Strategy: Lead the development of 52-week, 3-year, and long-range asset maintenance strategies to maximize plant availability. Scope, plan, and forecast resource requirements for major capital projects, plant shutdowns, and turnarounds. Develop, update, and maintain long-term Bills of Materials (BOMs), asset strategies, and standard task lists in collaboration with engineering teams.
