Long Haul Truck Driver Wa-LA/Midwest

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our team. We are open on our routes that go from WA-LA and Back or we do have MidWest as well . The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances while ensuring the safety and timely delivery of cargo. This role requires a strong commitment to following traffic laws, maintaining vehicle safety, and providing excellent customer service throughout the transportation process. Duties Operate various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailer. Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo information as required by regulations. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport. Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Skills Proficient in truck driving with experience in manual transmission operation. Familiarity with operating forklifts for loading and unloading purposes. Experience with refrigerated trailers and understanding temperature control requirements for perishable goods. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Ability to operate flatbed trucks and secure loads appropriately for transport. Experience with tanker operations is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations on the road. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
