What You'll Do
You will uphold Walmart’s exemplary standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism every step of your journey. Responsibilities include:
• Planning your day, setting priorities, and collaborating with your team to ensure timely and safe freight delivery.
• Communicating effectively, solving on-road challenges, and adapting to changing circumstances.
• Accurately managing required paperwork and electronic logs, while adhering to DOT, state, and company regulations.
• Safely operating your tractor-trailer, conducting inspections before, during, and after each trip.
• Navigating optimized routes in compliance with traffic laws and local restrictions to enhance on-time delivery performance.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must possess an Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 120 days of hire).
• A minimum of 30 months of experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position within the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations while operating a personal or commercial vehicle in the last three years.
• No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last three years.
• Ability to live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or relocate within 90 days from the hire date.
