In this role, you will be instrumental in managing warehouse distribution activities, optimizing inventory control, and ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, shipping, and transportation functions. Your expertise will drive process improvements, enhance data analysis capabilities, and support the overall efficiency of our logistics network. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations including stocking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar systems. Coordinate transportation planning and freight management, including working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in warehouse distribution processes and implement continuous process improvements. Utilize data analysis tools like Tableau, Excel data analysis, SQL, and spreadsheets to monitor supply chain performance metrics and generate actionable insights. Support procurement activities including sourcing, vendor management, pricing negotiations, and category management to optimize costs. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards during import/export activities. Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, production planning, and sourcing teams to facilitate order fulfillment and demand planning. Practice effective inventory control by managing stock levels accurately within inventory management systems while maintaining high standards of customer service. Lead manual handling operations safely while adhering to health and safety standards; operate forklifts as certified when necessary. Maintain detailed records of shipping logistics, transportation management systems (TMS), and supply chain analytics for reporting purposes.
