Job Title: Logistics Technician Location: Fremont, CA The Logistics Technician supports high-volume shipping operations by efficiently coordinating shipment preparation, documentation, and dispatch activities. This role ensures compliance with customer packaging requirements, maintains accurate routing and communication with drivers, and utilizes automated systems such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL. It also provides team support and adapts to changing schedules to maintain workflow continuity and delivery accuracy. Ability to always work efficiently & effectively. Ability to assist other crew members in performance of duties. Knowledgeable w/ automated systems for shipping (FEDEX, UPS, DHL) Able to accept and follows through when given work directions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Works together with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery to customers’ specifications and accurate receipt of goods. Performs visual assessments relative to shipments. Coordinates and assists with packaging & loading of shipments. Prepares commercial documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipper Letter of Instructions). Accurately update company ERP system (Oracle NetSuite). Maintains communications with drivers to successfully coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries. Ensures packaging specifications are followed per company or customer requirements. Always Maintains Safety Standards. Cross-trains and assists in other Supply Chain areas (material handling, inventory) or helps in production when shipping is not busy. Ability to work in Fast paced environment Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics preferred, or equivalent experience in the logistics industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Email System. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders. Team Player: Capable of working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledgeable with automated system (FEDEX, UPS, DHL). Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders. Able to lift up to 70.lbs. Knowledgeable in packaging and labeling material. Follows and understand Shipping Procedures. Certified to drive a forklift. Ability to complete work assignment within the time allotted. Maintain and cleans workstation /work environment. Ability to read, follow and understand written procedures. Proficient in Oracle NetSuite ERP System. Proficient in MS Excel.
