Logistics Team Lead

Overview Lead daily warehouse operations, keeping people, inventory, and shipments moving safely and efficiently. This hands-on role includes operating material handling equipment and helping improve processes across warehouse operations. Applicants are encouraged to apply in-person with a resume. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Roles & Responsibilities: Load and unload incoming materials and outgoing finished goods. Receive deliveries of other parts and equipment as needed. Follow procedures for incoming raw materials including but not limited to ensuring the correct PO number, weighing material, data entry, obtaining samples, and stacking in appropriate area. Ensure all the correct paperwork is in order for the drivers and the facility. Responsible for keeping storage areas for raw materials and finished goods clean, organized and labeled as appropriate. Load raw materials into production based on specifications from quality control testing. Schedule incoming and outgoing loads with vendors, customers, and transportation companies. Create the proper paperwork to accompany incoming and outgoing loads such as Bill of Ladings, Customs Invoices when applicable, etc. May at times be asked to assist in production functions. Other duties as needed or assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to work in varying temperatures. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Ability to work overhead. Ability to bend and stoop. Education Requirements & Preferred Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years experience being a team lead or supervisor preferred. Basic computer skills required. Forklift experience required.
