Logistics Support Technician Job Overview Hydro Steam-Therm is seeking a dependable Logistics Support Technician to support equipment handling, materials, field service activities, and industrial operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working with equipment, supporting field teams, and maintaining safe, organized operations. What You’ll Do Receive, inspect, organize, and prepare equipment and materials for field projects. Assist with equipment installation, maintenance, cleaning, testing, and basic troubleshooting. Load, unload, move, stage, and secure tools, parts, and industrial equipment. Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, service projects, and customer-site operations. Read work orders, technical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation. Maintain accurate service, inventory, and equipment records. Coordinate with technicians, engineers, project managers, and field teams to keep projects on schedule. Operate hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and testing equipment safely. Follow OSHA, company, and job-site safety procedures. Help maintain an organized work area and support efficient day-to-day operations. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus. 2+ years of experience in logistics, industrial maintenance, mechanical services, warehousing, or a related field preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read basic technical documents and follow instructions. Comfortable working at customer sites and in industrial environments. Ability to work overtime, weekends, travel, and support shutdown projects when needed. OSHA training or relevant certifications are a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and working in confined or elevated areas.
