Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator

Position Summary: Duroair specializes in creating clean, productive, and safe work environments for industrial processes by pairing advanced air filtration systems with custom containment solutions. Our patented systems are used by the Aerospace, Military and Defense, Alternative Energy, Metal Fabrication and Manufacturing sectors. Duroair has equipment for coating processes, dust/particulate collection and clean room applications. Our solutions increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve worker’s health and safety by containing harmful manufacturing operations or protecting critical manufacturing processes, increasing workflow flexibility, and eliminating the need for infrastructure changes. The Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing shipping, receiving, freight, customs, inventory coordination, and purchasing support activities. The role serves as the primary point of contact for carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal project teams, ensuring materials and equipment are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule in support of customer and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Shipping, Logistics & Freight Coordination Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments. Prepare Performa Invoices & BOL’s when required. Determine appropriate shipping methods based on cost, urgency, and customer requirements. Obtain freight quotations and select carriers for domestic and cross-border shipments. Arrange pickups, deliveries, and shipment scheduling with carriers and suppliers. Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, shortages, or damages. Communicate shipment status and delivery information to customers, suppliers, and project teams. Maintain shipping records and supporting documentation. Receiving & Inventory Coordination Coordinate and manage receiving activities. Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods, and supplier issues. Maintain accurate receiving records and inventory tracking information. Communicate receiving activity to support ERP inventory transactions. Support inventory control and material availability planning activities. Customs & Cross-Border Administration Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely border clearance. Review commercial invoices, customs documentation, and freight paperwork for accuracy. Assist with customs compliance and record retention requirements. Process freight and customs invoices and allocate costs to projects as required. Purchasing Support Support purchasing and supplier coordination activities to ensure material availability, on-time deliveries, and successful project execution. Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, and delivery commitments. Prepare and process purchase order requests. Monitor supplier deliveries and communicate schedule updates to internal stakeholders. Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills): Required Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, freight coordination, or supply chain operations. Experience coordinating domestic and cross-border shipments. Working knowledge of customs documentation and brokerage processes. Experience working with carriers, couriers, LTL, and truckload transportation providers. Experience processing inventory, purchasing, or logistics transactions within an ERP system. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications. Preferred Experience in a manufacturing, industrial equipment, or project-based business environment. Experience coordinating shipments between Canada and the United States. Knowledge of inventory control and purchasing processes. Familiarity with CUSMA/USMCA documentation and customs compliance requirements.
