RhythmedixJOB SPECIFICATION: LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR Reports to: Director, Logistics Classification: Non-Exempt Location: Mt. Our RhythmStar® mobile cardiac monitoring system is the industry's first cloud-based, all-in-one patient monitoring solution which features a single-component, multi-modality monitor. RhythMedix has launched the industry's first multi-modality wearable monitor that includes built in cellular technology for real time patient monitoring. POSITION SUMMARY: Works with the Logistics team and others to support the cleaning, prepping and shipping of Rhythmstar monitors along with any accessories. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES: Able to manage the process of the shipping department which includes but is not limited to Inbound shipments, Outbound shipments, Inventory management, Logistics management, supporting the Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, Clinical, IT, etc. departments, crisis management and other duties as assigned. Must be able to manage a staff of 12 or more at all times. Must be adaptable and able to change procedures, directions or tasks at a moments notice. Responsible for the daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning in order to ship and receive products at the store in a productive and cost-efficient manner Ensure all associates are trained and following all standard operating procedures Support the Director of Logistics in hiring, onboarding, training Manage timekeeping and timesheet compliance in the HR & Payroll system Handle general employee inquiries and solves problems (e.g. generally directing tasks for the day) Assist in tracking and improving department KPIs as well as process improvement measures Participate in cost reduction or carrier optimization QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment) High School diploma required Able to work onsite five (5) days/week Available to work extended hours, off hours and/or weekends on an as needed or permanent basis Excellent customer service, interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company Effective communication skills (oral and written) Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based system (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other company software programs) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Associates’ degree Experience with common carriers (FedEx, UPS, LTL, freight brokers) Familiarity with inventory or shipping systems (WMS, ERP, barcode scanning) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting up to 50 pounds, most frequently 10-25 pounds Must be able to stand for 2/3 or more of the workday Pushing/pulling required when moving carts, approximately 1/3 – 2/3 of the workday Frequently walk short distances, occurring 1/3 – 2/3 of the workday Occasional keyboard use, up to 1/3 of the workday Repetitive hand usage via gripping and rotating wrists and fine manipulation of fingers for assembly/disassembly and cleaning devices, approximately 1/3 – 2/3 of the workday Reaching for items on shelves that are 4-6 feet high, on occasion up to 1/3 of the workday Ability to handle rubbing alcohol to clean returned equipment BENEFITS: Competitive salary and bonus structure Health, dental, and vision insuran…
