We currently have an exciting opportunity to fill: Logistics Supervisor. POSITION OVERVIEW: The logistic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing plant supplies, logistics, and warehouse activities at our Ohatchee facility. This role ensures the on-time supply of raw materials, inventory management, as well as all distribution and receiving activities. The position also supervises warehouse operations and employees, works closely with suppliers and internal teams, and identifies opportunities to improve costs, processes, inventory accuracy, and overall supply chain efficiency. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Procurement Purchase raw materials, components, supplies, and other items required to support manufacturing operations. Manage purchase orders and ensure materials are available according to production requirements. Participate with purchasing to build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance. Collaborate with purchasing to identify sourcing opportunities and support initiatives to improve cost, quality, and availability. Coordinate closely with production and other departments to anticipate material requirements and resolve supply issues. Inventory, Logistics & Warehouse Operations Oversee inventory levels and help ensure the accuracy and availability of materials. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to support timely deliveries to and from the facility. Prepare all required documentation for expedition including export documentation. Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, material movement, and shipping. Organize warehouse priorities and allocate resources according to operational needs. Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Identify and resolve inventory, delivery, and material-flow issues. Team Supervision & Continuous Improvement Supervise, support, motivate, and develop warehouse employees while maintaining a positive work environment. Plan workloads and ensure appropriate resources are available to meet operational objectives. Establish and monitor purchasing, inventory, logistics, and warehouse performance objectives. Review and improve processes to increase efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall operational performance Work within our ERP system 'Microsoft GP. Collaborate with production and other departments to improve material flow and support continuous improvement initiatives. WHAT YOU NEED: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience supervising or leading employees. Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse processes. Experience with MRP/ERP systems and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or a Quality Management System is an asset. Ability to communicate effec…
