Logistics Supervisor

Overview As a Logistics Supervisor, you’ll coordinate warehouse operations and transportation to keep materials moving safely and orders on track. You’ll guide daily work across shipping and receiving, inventory control, purchasing, and carrier and supplier coordination. Your impact: Accurate inventory and dependable order fulfillment help customers receive the right products when they need them. Duties Supervise warehouse distribution, stocking, materials handling, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment; follow safe manual-handling practices and forklift procedures. Coordinate transportation planning, freight, shipping logistics, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and transportation management systems. Manage inventory, demand and production planning, materials management, procurement, sourcing, purchasing, pricing, contracts, and vendor relationships. Monitor service, costs, and profit and loss (P&L); use data collection, data analysis, root cause analysis, and process improvement to resolve issues. Partner across teams on customer service, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and e-commerce operations. Experience Experience in warehouse operations, warehouse management, supply chain management, logistics management, transportation management, inventory management, or a supply chain operations role. Knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory management systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, material requirements planning (MRP), and AS400. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, Excel data analysis, SQL, Tableau, and supply chain analytics is preferred. Strong analysis, negotiation, category management, supplier management, and cross-functional communication skills; familiarity with non-vessel-operating common carriers (NVOCCs) is a plus.
