Logistics Specialist - III

Job Description Star Transport LLC dba Big Star is looking to fill a Logistics Specialist III position in their Oklahoma City office. This position will be an assistant to the Logistics Manager and will assist him in running day to day operations. This will include every matter within dispatch and logistics operations. Candidate will work directly with dispatch to ensure efficiency in routing and monitoring of stores and must be capable of handling "hot and heavy" situations with inventory control of petroleum products in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado retail markets, as well as follow DOT regulations. The assistant will also help train new dispatchers and work hand-in-hand with terminal management to ensure sufficient coverage to handle business demands, as well as generating and running reports for management as requested. Candidate will also be supervising upwards of 50+ drivers. Currently looking for Dispatchers Job Pay $65,000-$75,000. Salary is based on experience. Schedule Schedule will typically be daytime hours with the possibility of taking calls/helping after hours.
