Position Summary The Logistics Specialist helps ensure Morey’s products are accurately prepared, documented, and shipped to customers on time. This hands-on role combines warehouse activities with shipment coordination, including picking orders, verifying quantities, scheduling carrier pickups, and preparing domestic and international shipping documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using computers and shipping portals, and experienced in coordinating shipments in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do Pick orders and verify items and quantities against shipping requirements. Repackage products as needed to protect materials during transit and meet customer requirements. Perform cycle counts and verify inventory quantities scheduled to ship; identify and help resolve discrepancies. Schedule pickups and coordinate shipments through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and XPO. Prepare accurate bills of lading (BOLs) and other required shipping documents. Coordinate international shipments and prepare commercial invoices and supporting documentation for customs clearance. Ensure shipments are properly labeled and meet carrier and customer requirements. Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in shipping portals and internal systems. Communicate with internal teams and transportation providers to resolve shipping issues and support timely deliveries. Safely operate a cherry picker forklift to retrieve and move materials. Maintain an organized work area and follow Morey’s safety and quality procedures. What We’re Looking For At least two years of warehouse or logistics experience. Good computer skills, including accurate data entry Experience using shipping portals such as UPS, FedEx, and XPO. Experience preparing bills of lading. Experience coordinating international shipments and preparing related documentation. Comfort operating a cherry picker forklift. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
