Job title: Logistics Specialist Job holder: Responsible To: Commercial Manager Location: 13516 County Road 8, Fort Lupton, CO 80621 Overall goal: Coordinate with Commercial Manager to manage and optimize the movement, and delivery of goods, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction across the supply chain. Role Objectives: 100% customer satisfaction. Ensuring no customer and internal line downs Ensure one hundred percent [100%] on time delivery performance To execute the company policy To ensure full compliance with legal OSHA and ISO requirements Duties and responsibilities Transportation Management For managed line of business, serve as the primary point of contact for all vendorrelated freight communications, ensuring clear and effective interaction. Work with Key Account Managers to manage transportation relating to all customer movements in/out of Sphere Track inbound shipment progress and collaborate with external trucking companies and the internal receiving team for smooth delivery. Utilize existing tools and systems to assist in the management of inbound and out bound freight. Solve issues on delays in transit or delayed shipments, working with Key Account Managers Partner with the Key Account Manager and TEQ supervisors to coordinate the inbound shipment process, ensuring timely delivery of goods. Collaborate with European and Chinese teams to coordinate vendor PO shipments, ensuring ontime delivery. Monitor order progress and resolve issues through regular communication with vendors via email and phone. Assist Key Account Managers with cost and leadtime options during the quote process and managing inbound and outbound freight. Assist Key Account Managers with outbound shipments. Work on freight pricing continuously to ensure the best pricing is received for each shipment. Inbound container shipments to be maximized in loading to reduce overall freight costs. Must also be familiar with international trade regulations, customs procedures. Manage intracompany shipments/transfer of goods. Create and improve metrics and other reports as assigned. Promote onsite safety requirements through all logistics partners.
