Logistics Specialist
Built DesignBUiLT Design located in Everett Washington, is an Industrial Design firm focused on retail environment, retail display, and product design. We offer client design and fabrication services anchored with the leading brands in the outdoor/action sports industry. Position Summary Built is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring project materials, fixtures, cabinetry, hardware, and finished products are accurately prepared, documented, and shipped to meet customer and project schedules. The ideal candidate is highly organized and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and accountability. This individual will work closely with Project Managers and the Production Manager to ensure materials move efficiently through the facility and arrive on time. Key Responsibilities Communicate with freight carriers, clients, and internal teams regarding shipment status and delivery schedules. Process outgoing shipments, including labeling, documentation, and scheduling carriers. Coordinate daily shipping to meet project schedules. Maintain accurate shipping records, bills of lading, freight documentation, and inventory transactions. Track incoming and outgoing shipments and provide status updates to project managers and production teams. Qualifications Previous experience in logistics or similar role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to read material lists, packing lists, purchase orders, and shipping documentation. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with basic computer skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Experience in cabinetry, millwork, manufacturing, or commercial fabrication environments preferred.
