We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities Include

  • Multi-Functional Operations: Rotate through material handling, shipping and receiving, and packing departments.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintain precise records using ERP/MRP systems to track stock levels and material movement.
  • Shipping Coordination: Prepare outbound shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other specialized labeling systems.
  • Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move raw materials and finished goods.
  • Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), work orders, and complex packing specifications.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all items are packed according to specific standards to prevent damage and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the warehouse flow and suggest solutions to improve efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Required: High school diploma or GED/HiSET.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, shipping, or packing within a manufacturing environment.

Technical Proficiency

  • Systems: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (experience with IQMS is a significant plus).
  • Software: Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and digital inventory tracking tools.
  • Logistics Tools: Familiarity with shipping software (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager) and industrial labeling systems.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Strength: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods on a manufacturing floor.
  • Environment: Must be comfortable working around active machinery and raw materials.

Soft Skills

  • Detail-Oriented: A "measure twice, cut once" mentality regarding data entry and order accuracy.
  • Communication: Ability to relay information clearly to internal production teams and external suppliers.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset geared toward solving logistical challenges on the fly.
