Mallory PrintPosition Overview Mallory Print, a family-owned custom apparel and screen printing company serving the DFW Metroplex and shipping nationwide since 1961, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end flow of custom apparel orders, from production completion through final delivery, ensuring that our customers across 48 states receive their orders accurately and on time. As a fourth-generation Mallory family business, we take pride in our in-house production model: design, screen printing, embroidery, and fulfillment are all handled under one roof. The Logistics Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining the tight quality control and fast turnaround times that our customers have trusted for over six decades. Key Responsibilities Order Coordination & Fulfillment Coordinate the flow of orders from production completion to shipping, ensuring accuracy at every stage Manage order queues and prioritize shipments based on customer deadlines, production schedules, and shipping method Verify order details (quantities, sizes, colors, decoration methods, and shipping addresses) against production tickets and customer purchase orders Collaborate with in-house production, embroidery, and screen printing teams to confirm order readiness Shipping & Carrier Management Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and international customs forms where applicable Select and schedule carriers based on cost, speed, and destination requirements (UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers) Negotiate rates and maintain relationships with shipping vendors to optimize costs Track shipments in transit and proactively resolve delays, damages, or delivery exceptions Process claims for lost or damaged shipments Inventory & Supplies Management Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies (boxes, mailers, labels, tape) and coordinate replenishment Maintain accurate records of finished goods inventory awaiting shipment Assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counts as needed Customer & Internal Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping-related inquiries from customers and internal teams Provide tracking information and delivery updates to customers and account managers Communicate proactively with the sales and customer service teams regarding order status, delays, or issues Support the online team store fulfillment process, ensuring timely shipment of individual orders placed through branded storefronts Process Improvement & Documentation Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics workflows Identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs, improve delivery times, and streamline fulfillment processes Maintain accurate records in the company's order management and shipping systems Generate regular reports on shipping volumes, costs, and on-time delivery performance Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with all applicable shipping regulations, including hazardous materials (if applicable) and international shipping requirements Verify that all outbound packages meet Mallory Print's quality and packaging standards Collaborate with the quality control team to address any fulfillment errors or customer complaints related to shipping Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, fulfillment, or supply chain coordination Proficiency with shipping software and carrier platforms (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, USPS Click-N-Ship, or similar) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and order management systems Excellent organizational and time-m…
