Job Summary Job Title: Lab / Operations Coordinator – Logistics Specialist Location: Santa Clara, CA Work Mode: Onsite Employment Type: Contract Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience Job Description: We are looking for an organized and proactive Logistics Specialist to support engineering labs and data center operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing IT hardware inventory, coordinating shipments, maintaining asset records, and supporting equipment logistics across multiple lab locations. Key Responsibilities: Manage inventory operations, including shipping, receiving, staging, inventory audits, and documentation. Track IT hardware, equipment, and assets while maintaining accurate inventory records. Coordinate the deployment, setup, and servicing of lab test equipment across multiple locations. Collaborate with logistics teams, engineers, technicians, and management to fulfill equipment requests. Perform periodic inventory audits, lab cleanup, and process improvement activities. Manage e-waste storage and disposal in accordance with established guidelines. Handle physical materials and equipment, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in IT inventory, logistics, laboratory, or data center environments. Experience with IT asset management, inventory control, tracking, and auditing. Knowledge of shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory documentation. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. Experience using manual pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment. Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced lab or data center environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience handling IT hardware or server equipment in lab or data center environments. Familiarity with e-waste handling and disposal procedures. Experience with asset management tools and shipping/receiving operations. Work Location: This is a fully onsite position in Santa Clara, CA.
