Logistics Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our supply chain operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods across various channels. Responsibilities Manage warehouse distribution activities, including inventory control, stocking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing vendors, negotiating pricing, and managing supplier relationships to optimize costs and service levels. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production planning, demand planning, and customer service teams to align supply chain activities with business goals. Requirements Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems (ERP), and transportation management systems (TMS). Hands-on experience with warehouse operations such as shipping & receiving, manual handling, stocking, inventory control, and materials management. Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers while managing procurement processes for optimal pricing and service levels. Certification or experience operating forklifts; familiarity with transportation planning tools like MRPs or demand planning software is a plus. Excellent communication skills for collaborating across functions such as procurement, logistics management, customer service, and vendor management. Strong analysis skills for root cause analysis, process improvement initiatives, and supply chain optimization efforts.
