Logistics & Shipping Coordinator
3D Lifestyle OshawaAbout the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics & Shipping Coordinator to join our team. This position will oversee the daily coordination of inbound and outbound shipments and help ensure that products, documents, and deliveries move efficiently and accurately. The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, comfortable working with shipping documentation, and able to coordinate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation providers. This is a coordination-focused position and does not require heavy lifting. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the daily flow of incoming and outgoing shipments. Receive deliveries and confirm items, quantities, and documentation. Prepare orders for dispatch, including packaging, labeling, and shipping paperwork. Arrange courier services and coordinate scheduled pickups and deliveries. Monitor shipments from dispatch through delivery and address delays when required. Investigate discrepancies involving quantities, damaged goods, missing items, or incorrect deliveries. Maintain organized digital and physical records of shipments and related documentation. Update inventory and shipment information accurately in internal systems or tracking files. Assist with routine inventory checks and resolve basic record discrepancies. Maintain an orderly and efficient shipping and receiving area. Communicate with suppliers, couriers, vendors, and internal departments regarding delivery requirements. Provide shipment updates and follow up on outstanding logistics matters. Work closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Support additional logistics and warehouse coordination activities as required. Key Requirements Previous experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, inventory, warehouse operations, or a related environment is preferred. Familiarity with courier services, shipment tracking, and delivery documentation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling records and orders. Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, and basic data-entry systems. Well organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day. Dependable, punctual, and consistent in following through on assigned tasks. Clear and professional communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team. Comfortable working in a shipping, warehouse, or distribution environment. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Success in This Role The successful candidate will ensure that shipments are processed accurately, deliveries are coordinated on time, documentation remains organized, inventory information is reliable, and shipping-related issues are followed through to resolution.
