Responsibilities:
The Logistics Shift Captain plays a critical leadership role in ensuring Albuquerque Ambulance Service operates smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position serves as the on‑shift expert in all logistics functions, performing the full scope of Logistics Technician duties while guiding and supporting the team.
As the Logistics Shift Captain, you will coordinate and assign daily tasks for shift personnel, acting as the primary logistics point of contact for all Albuquerque Ambulance departments during operations. You’ll oversee the end‑to‑end flow of ambulance processing to ensure vehicles are cleaned, restocked, and deployment‑ready—always maintaining strict adherence to OSHA guidelines, AAS SOG requirements, pharmacy regulations, and all relevant compliance standards.
You will train new team members, promote best practices, and support a high‑performance culture focused on safety, accuracy, and service excellence. Your responsibilities also include managing cost‑effective inventory control, preventing loss or waste of equipment and supplies, and maintaining pharmaceutical items in accordance with all regulatory expectations.

Shift Differentials
$1.75/hr Night Differential, earned on eligible night hours, stacks on base rate.
$1.50/hr Weekend Differential, earned on eligible weekend hours, stacks on base rate.
