Logistics Security Officer Weekends (Part-Time) Vehicle Patrol Security Officer Location: Bolingbrook, IL Pay Rate: $16 per hour Schedule: Opening 1: Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Vehicle Patrol Security Officer to join our security team. In this role, you will help ensure the safety and security of our facility through proactive vehicle and foot patrols, rapid incident response, and detailed reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong security background, excellent observational skills, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and holds (or can obtain) an active PERC card and 20-hour Certificate. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols of designated areas to deter and detect criminal activity Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and incidents, providing assistance as needed Monitor for and report suspicious activity, security breaches, safety hazards, and maintenance issues Complete detailed, accurate daily activity reports (DARs) and incident reports Communicate professionally with clients, team members, law enforcement, and emergency services Maintain high visibility to deter threats and provide reassurance to clients and visitors Follow all company policies, procedures, post orders, and applicable laws and regulations Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with clean driving record Proven experience in security, preferably with vehicle patrol responsibilities Active PERC Card (Permanent Employee Registration Card) and 20-Hour Security Training Certificate Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses/certifications Strong observational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-stress situations Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods — up to 8-12 hours per shift Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle for prolonged periods Ability to respond quickly to emergencies, including walking briskly, climbing stairs, and assisting on-site as needed Physically capable of meeting the demands of emergency response What We Value Reliability, integrity, and professionalism Customer-service mindset Teamwork and clear communication Attention to detail in observation and reporting IL #122-001049 , #123.000460 Why St. Moritz?
