Logistics Scheduler Altex Energy Ltd. is seeking a full-time Logistics Scheduler for its terminal in Lashburn, Saskatchewan. This position works a rotating schedule of seven days on and seven days off, 12-hour shifts. The Logistics Scheduler coordinates railcar loading, producer volumes, documentation, purchasing, and administrative support at the Lashburn terminal. Key Responsibilities: Communicate with the Logistics and Operations teams to develop, monitor, and adjust the daily railcar loading schedule. Coordinate with CN to arrange train inspections and confirm train spotting and pull plans. Release unit trains and railcars, issue bills of lading, and distribute release notifications and customer bill-of-lading reports. Schedule producer volumes and order, confirm, and adjust daily volumes and loads. Monitor the yard management system to ensure railcar arrival and departure data are accurate and required inspections are completed before release. Manage fleet changes, including changes to railcar storage in/out changes. Manage bad-order railcars, including BO notifications, schedule MUR, documentation, and invoicing. Review and approve product transfer tickets. Assist the laboratory team with organizing tank alternation activities. Manage oil samples, including packaging, labelling, truck waybills, documentation, and invoicing. Perform other duties as required to support the Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics teams. Invoice reconciliation Expense reports Manage office supply inventory Order supplies Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications and Candidate Profile The successful candidate will bring the following education, experience, competencies, and availability: Education and Experience Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset. Oil industry or rail experience is an asset. Logistics or scheduling experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required. Competencies and Availability Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team. Demonstrates a strong commitment to workplace safety and follows all operational policies and procedures. Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making ability. Must successfully complete all required training, including H2S, First Aid, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods training, and pass an eRail Safe criminal background check. Must be available for shift work, on-call duties, and after-hours support during scheduled rotations.
