Job Description We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Logistics Representative to manage the receipt, storage, and delivery of raw and component materials for BAE Systems, Space & Mission Systems advanced products. In this key role, you will help ensure efficient material flow within the Integrated Supply Chain. We offer significant opportunities for professional growth and development. The Integrated Supply Chain team has a direct impact on program success, acting as a critical chain that links the end-to-end material flow together. Our organization helps propel us forward and achieve true mission partnership. What You’ll Do Receiving, sorting, controlling, transferring, and issuing materials to various departments. Planning and coordinating the use of storage space to optimize efficiency. Operating hand carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts to move materials as needed. Handling materials with care and attention to detail. Collaborating with Programs/Departments to ensure accurate packaging and shipping requirements. Resolving material discrepancies and investigating shortages and overages. Maintaining accurate logs, records, and files by BAE Systems SMS policies. Communicating effectively and interacting with others to maintain a positive, professional, and productive work environment. Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Perform other duties as necessary. On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School diploma or equivalent. Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. Excellent communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience working in a high-volume inventory, shipping, and/or receiving environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience working in the Aerospace & Defense industry. Experience working with a computerized Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Inventory Control system. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $40003 - $64006 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
