This position requires a deep understanding of supply, maintenance, transportation, general engineering, health services, and services with the ability to provide actionable recommendations for improvement. You Have: 10+ years of experience with logistics at tactical or operational levels, conducting planning to assess logistical requirements supporting exercises, deployments, contingency operations, or operational planning 5+ years of experience as a logistics or operations professional 3+ years of experience on a staff at a Major Subordinate Command (MSC), including with logistics automated information systems (LOG AIS) in the Marine Corps Experience leading planning teams or working groups with key stakeholders across the Marine Corps Expeditionary Force to address issues that would improve operational readiness and availability of equipment Experience synchronizing operational requirements within a Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Materiel Readiness Branch (MRB) for application of resources Experience composing and reviewing military correspondence Ability to manage administrative functions within the logistics and Combat Service Support communities, including ground equipment materiel readiness policies Ability to oversee programs and policies related to all Classes of Supply, including Class I (Rations), Class III (POL/Fuels), Class V (Ammunition), and Class IX (Repair Parts) management Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: Experience in data analysis and utilization of pertinent software tools such as MS Power BI or MS Excel Experience working on a General Officer level staff in a logistics division Experience in facility management procedures and with associated U.S. Marine Corps logistics policies and regulations Experience with the Microsoft Office suite Ability to pay strict attention to detail and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy Possession of excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Expeditionary Logistics Instructor Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
