Logistics Principal for Intelligrated Headquarters, LLC in Mason, OH
Responsibilities:
Act as the subject matter expert in managing and optimizing the end-to-end logistics operations.
Responsible for providing expertise in coordinating transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure efficient supply chain operations and give Honeywell a competitive edge in the market.
Utilize strong background in logistics management and strong analytical skills to develop strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Impact the efficiency and profitability of the business by streamlining logistics operations, managing inventory effectively, and implementing cost-saving measures.
Develop and execute logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to delivery, ensuring on-time and accurate order fulfillment.
Optimize transportation routes, modes, and carriers to minimize costs while meeting delivery timelines.
Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to establish strong partnerships and streamline operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Facilitate Physical Inventory for IGS WHSE locations Create/drive metrics management across IGS logistics processes.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of experience in Logistics and Warehousing.
Must have 8 years of experience with the following: capacity to use complex data to forecast demand, identify trends, predict risks, and track key performance indicators (KPIs); ability to use Oracle ERP at an advanced level; proficiency in managing and optimizing warehouse operations through software, including tracking inventory levels, optimizing storage and space utilization, and overseeing the efficient picking, packing, and shipping processes; ability to implement structured Query Language (SQL) used within Oracle Database systems; Transportation management systems (TMS) and optimization- ability to optimize freight routes to the most logical and cost effective; managing projects related to process improvements or warehouse layout changes; Expertise in tracking stock levels, managing storage, and ensuring accurate inventory records; ability to plan and coordinate the efficient movement of materials and products; and IT ERP Business Implementation.
Up to 25% domestic travel required.
Telecommuting permitted.
