Logistics Operator (Vietnamese or Chinese bilingual)

Logistics Operator Location: Cerritos, CA Duration: 1 Year Contract Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Role Overview We are seeking a Logistics Operator with experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, import operations, and global transportation. The ideal candidate will have strong customer orientation, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with carriers, 3PL providers, vendors, and internal teams to support efficient logistics operations. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate strong customer orientation and negotiation skills . Support import operations, global logistics, and Customs Compliance . Coordinate ocean, air, and trucking freight with carriers and 3PL providers . Manage and support fulfillment and distribution activities . Maintain SOPs and work instructions while ensuring operational best practices and compliance with customer requirements. Build relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal team members. Help resolve freight and transportation issues. Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and support continuous process improvement. Continuously evaluate logistics processes to improve operational efficiency and support long-term business growth. Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry; ocean import experience preferred. 1–2 years of logistics or data management experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly learn logistics operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate openly and effectively. Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency. Strong work ethic. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word . Ability to travel up to 10% . Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ocean import operations . Freight forwarding experience. Global logistics and Customs Compliance experience. Data management experience. Experience working with carriers and 3PL providers. Vietnamese or Chinese bilingual skills.
