ConfidentialJob Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Operator who is bilingual in Vietnamese and Chinese to join our vibrant supply chain team. Responsibilities Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manage transportation logistics using transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or AS400 to plan routes, schedule shipments, and monitor freight movements. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for sourcing, procurement, and category management to secure competitive pricing and favorable trade terms. Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or delays, implementing process improvements to prevent recurrence. Utilize data analysis skills with tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, and spreadsheets for demand planning, inventory analysis, and supply chain analytics. Oversee compliance with international trade regulations and trade documentation to ensure smooth customs clearance and trade compliance. Practice effective cross-functional communication with procurement, warehouse operations, customer service, and transportation teams to align goals and resolve issues promptly. Support warehouse management system (WMS) operations including stocking, inventory management systems, manual handling procedures, and forklift operations where applicable. Engage in vendor management activities such as negotiations on pricing or service levels to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards. Assist in process improvement initiatives related to freight management, shipping logistics, or supply chain workflows to enhance overall efficiency. Experience Proven experience in supply chain operations roles involving logistics management, warehouse distribution, or transportation planning. Strong familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems (IMS), ERP platforms like SAP or AS400, and transportation management systems (TMS). Demonstrated ability in data collection, Excel data analysis, SQL querying for supply chain insights, and using Tableau for reporting. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance procedures related to shipping logistics and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and process improvement strategies within a supply chain context. Effective communication skills in Vietnamese and Chinese; proficiency in English is advantageous for cross-functional collaboration. Practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on inventory control, demand planning, procurement processes or vendor management is highly desirable.
