Logistics Operations Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated office assistant to join our transportation team. Applicant MUST have at least one year of experience in transportation logistics. Lentz Carrier Company is a participant in the Arkansas Drug Free workplace program. As such candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to random testing Duties Assist with with day-to-day operations of our transportation business Clerical Work: Answer phone calls, file paperwork and update databases Safety Training: Help onboard new drivers and review safety rules with current staff Log Checking: Review electronic logging devices (ELD) to ensure drivers follow federal hours-of-service rules; good knowledge of DOT safety rules and driver logs is a plus Dispatch Support: Assist the dispatch team with load planning, driver check-ins and route tracking Spreadsheet Management: Build spreadsheets and use formulas to track fleet metrics On-Call rotation: Take turns sharing after-hours on-call duties with the team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Application Question(s): How many years of experience in trucking logistics?
