Working as a collaborative team member, the Logistics and Nutrition Assistant performs various duties including food and nutrition preparation, delivery, cleaning and sanitation processes; portering patients\/clients\/equipment\/supplies; and providing transportation services for outpatients\/clients.<\/p>

• Completion of the requirements for the National Food Safety Training Certificate Program, preferred<\/li>
• Six months’ work experience in an institutional food services environment, preferred<\/li>
• Experience working with HACCP guidelines, preferred<\/li>
• Valid Ontario driver’s license Class G, and clear driver’s abstract; Class F, preferred<\/li>
• Experience using computerized systems<\/li> <\/ul>

Position Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>
• Assists in provision of food services for centralized and decentralized meal service for patient\/clients.<\/li>
• Assists with routine food preparation tasks.<\/li>
• Operates a variety of equipment such as dish machine, food chopper, toaster, and the transport vehicle as assigned.<\/li>
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning and sanitizing food service equipment, work surfaces, delivery carts or denest, dining tables, storage areas and pot areas<\/li>
• Performs inventory control and quality standard related duties by completing Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Temperature procedure guidelines at every meal and completing related documentation<\/li>
• Drives community clients to community appointments, as assigned, and temporarily until client independence with community travel is consolidated as per client service plan<\/li>
• F licensed drivers, will drive community clients using Providence Care accessible bus or 12 passenger van<\/li> <\/ul>
