Logistics Material Handler

Job Overview Come join our friendly Logistics team in the beautiful Northwoods of Minnesota. Duties include loading garage doors onto our own fleet of trucks by hand and via forklift as well as receiving, organizing, storing and rotating supplies using equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors . Lifting 50-70 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally is required. Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Loads finished garage doors, track, springs and hardware onto company trucks by hand, by cart, or with the aid of a forklift. Assist in the organization and updating of loading documentation. Use equipment such as forklifts, carts, handcarts, pallet jacks, and conveyors to accomplish the safe storage of materials. Assist in the planning of material locations that best suits the needs of each department. Assist in the organization of materials to best accommodate the needs of the company. Coordinate efforts with other positions and departments to maximize efficient use of space and utility. Assist in the proper rotation of material through the stocking function to ensure the smooth operation of the first in-first used system. Actively assist in the continuation of the company’s Five S program. The employee will also perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor including, but not limited to, routine maintenance, inventory and PMs. Skills Must have the ability to lift 50-70 pound frequently and 100 pounds occasionally. Strong organizational ability. Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Ability to work a flexible Monday-Friday schedule.
