Learn more at: https://www.fenchem.com. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead daily inbound and outbound logistics activities. Working closely with Sales, Warehouse, vendors, and carriers, this role ensures timely deliveries, cost-effective transportation, and efficient workflow while supporting continuous operational improvement. Responsibilities · Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to ensure timely import of goods from international suppliers, including China, and distribution throughout the US. · Manage relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and logistics service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation. · Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including international transportation, inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment. · Ensure compliance with applicable US and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and import/export documentation. · Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs, improve operational efficiency, and enhance service levels. · Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, and Procurement to align logistics operations with business needs. · Develop logistics KPIs to evaluate performance, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement. · Lead the logistics team, establish priorities, monitor workflow, and foster a collaborative environment. · Stay current on logistics industry trends, transportation market conditions, technology, and regulatory changes affecting international trade and supply chain operations. · Perform other logistics-related projects as assigned by management. Required Skills · Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required. · BA degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. An advanced degree is a plus. · 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, including experience leading logistics operations. · Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs clearance, with experience in China-US trade. · Experience with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and logistics service providers. · Experience with logistics software and ERP systems. SAP experience is strongly preferred. · Strong negotiation skills with the ability to evaluate freight costs and transportation options. · Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational issues and practical solutions. · Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments. · Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
