Job Description

A growing multi-unit service provider is seeking a Dispatch & Logistics Manager to lead a centralized operational support team. This onsite leadership role oversees the daily routing, scheduling, and movement of field personnel and equipment across multiple divisions. The position balances hands-on day-to-day execution (70–80%) with continuous process improvement, workflow standardization, and the integration of modern logistics technology.

Responsibilities/skills:

  • Lead, develop, and set clear operational priorities for a centralized dispatch team managing high-volume, multi-stop service routes.

  • Oversee real-time routing, scheduling, and asset deployment, responding dynamically to schedule disruptions and preparing for upcoming field demand.

  • Build scalable, documented processes and training programs to ensure consistent operational execution across all service locations.

  • Help evaluate and implement logistics technology—including automation, AI-driven routing tools, and internal systems—to optimize resource utilization.

  • Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify service bottlenecks, track performance metrics, and collaborate closely with regional field leadership.



Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, time-sensitive operational environment.

  • Demonstrated experience improving workflows, establishing repeatable processes, and driving technology adoption.

  • Background in dispatch, fleet operations, field services, or high-density, multi-stop routing preferred.

  • Strong technical curiosity with the aptitude to leverage fleet software, routing platforms, or telematics systems (e.g., Samsara or similar).

  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a service-oriented approach to supporting field personnel.
