In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end logistics processes, including warehouse distribution, transportation management, procurement, and inventory control. Your expertise will drive process improvements, enhance efficiency, and ensure seamless coordination across cross-functional teams. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies that align with company goals, focusing on warehouse management, transportation planning, and freight optimization. Manage warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, stocking, and inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Oversee procurement activities such as sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to secure cost-effective materials and services. Utilize data analysis skills and tools like SQL, Excel data analysis, Tableau, and supply chain analytics to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for process improvement. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and freight carriers to optimize transportation logistics and compliance with international trade regulations. Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Lead cross-functional communication efforts among procurement, production planning, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and demand planning. Requirements Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a strong background in warehouse distribution, inventory management systems (ERP systems), transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS). Demonstrated ability in procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and trade compliance within international trade regulations. Proficiency with data collection tools such as SQL, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite—including Excel data analysis—and Tableau for supply chain analytics. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment like forklifts; certification preferred. Strong analysis skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives effectively. Knowledge of freight forwarding (NVOCC), shipping logistics, demand planning, pricing strategies, and inventory control techniques. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration; experience practicing in a supply chain operations environment is essential.
