Logistics Manager
Vaco by HighspringVaco is working with a growing company in Phoenix, AZ that is looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team. This Logistics Manager will oversee transportation and logistics operations, ensuring efficient deliveries, effective route planning, driver coordination, and cost management. This is a direct hire position that is fully on site in West Phoenix, paying $70K-$75K per year depending on experience, with interviews taking place this week. Job Description: · Dispatch and manage a team of drivers to ensure safe and on-time deliveries. · Manage driver schedules, availability, and daily routes. · Coach and support drivers to improve performance and address issues as needed. · Monitor deliveries, troubleshoot problems, and ensure customer satisfaction. · Step in as a backup driver when needed. · Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and updates. · Work with HR, Safety, Billing, and other departments as needed.
