LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD)Position Description You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST on the Aircrew Escape & Crashworthy Systems (AECS) Fleet Support Team (FST) in the FST LOGISTICS DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST. Position Duties/Responsibilities You will attend program meetings and reviews and prepare / present various briefings as required to meet the needs of the assigned weapons system. You will develop, review, evaluate and/or provide supportability inputs to program technical and mission documentation including maintenance plans, supportability analysis, and technical data. You will serve as the technical/administrative point of contact for the fleet, logisticians, US government agencies/services, and contractors for in-service logistics issues pertaining to the areas assigned. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and readiness of assigned aircraft systems, while reducing total cost of ownership to the Navy. You will develop, prepare, review, and/or update IPS planning documentation. You will identify fleet logistics problems, issues and develop or propose solutions/resolutions.
