LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description YOU WILL SERVE AS A LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST IN THE MAINTENCE PLANNING BRANCH OF FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. You will be part of a team which provides logistics and technical support for Maintenance Planning to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Manager, Air (PMA), Fleet Readiness Centers and fleet users. Salary will be set as follows: GS-11: $85,307 - $110,905 GS-12: $102,246 - $132,923 Position Duties/Responsibilities You will be responsible for all Maintenance Planning activities from Concept Exploration to Disposal of assigned programs. You will verify that the system/support system developed meets and/or enables all Maintenance Planning requirements defined in the system specification and Statement of Work. You will develop and record Logistics Product Data (LPD) attributes in a suitable LPD database. You will assist in establishing processes and guidelines that ensure supportability analyses performed are logical, analytical, repeatable and auditable, and result in successful identification of maintenance requirements and support alternatives. You will assist the FST Maintenance Planning Project Lead to ensure effective and efficient planning, integration, and phasing of all efforts.
